Stillwater
Designed and painted backgrounds for the “koans” (short narrative sequences) in the Stillwater series, produced by Gaumont Animation for Apple TV+. Each koan unfolded in a distinct cultural and historical setting. Rather than applying a single style, the stylistic language was intentionally shifted from episode to episode, ensuring that each story possessed a unique visual identity grounded in its cultural context. Art directed by Tommy Kim and Christina Yang.
